One year older, nine years wiser.

Tomorrow is my birthday. I'm turning one.

Party over huuur'. Everyone's invited.

Except I won't be in town; which is why this is

getting posted today ;)

August 9, 2008 I was baptized a member of

the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Little did I know what life had in store for me.

Never did I think that by making those covenants that

my entire life would change. No, I am not being

melodramatic--just sincere. Each day is filled

with more blessings than the last.

Each week is filled with trials, but ultimately

a strength and sense of understanding. I have such
a testimony that life falls into place. It does.

Quotes I [try] to live by:

-"Come what may, and love it" [Elder Wirthlin, Oct. 2008]

-"Find joy in the journey" [Pres. Monson, Oct. 2008]

-"Ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith" [Ether 12:6]

AND my friends, being the incredible people they are, did the nicest thing for me. Sarah and Abe bought me NEW SCRIPTURES {because i wanted big ones w/more room to annotate! and i wanted seperated ones :]] } with my name on them. And then Abe went around to all my friends and had them type THE sweetest things. He even called my mom/dad/stepmom and had them type something up {not to mention, got ahold of their numbers in the first place. and ahold of them. whyy have phones when you don't answer them?! just sayin'}. Then put them in a scrapbook and AH. He then hid in my kitchen and sent me into cardiac arrest when he appeared out of nowhere. I'm not one to cry over anything. But it was the most tender thing I have ever received. I hate when people go through trouble for me. But I am so truly grateful for my gift. Best present I have ever received. And to think it was from the people that mean the most to me. I hope I can one day repay everyone for everything they've done for me.

Thank you, everybody.
