Tuesday

I find that a majority of the time, I allow myself to be disappointed in people;
getting frustrated that they fell below some unbinding expectation I subconsciously placed upon them.

But who am I to bind expectations to anyone but myself?
I can't change a person.
I can only change me.

And now that I've realized that, I find that I am able to be proud of those around me;
recognizing their successes instead of their shortcomings.

The world really is a wonderful place, my friends.

You are so right. Even though it seems so much easier to try to change others and stay the way you are, I am working on myself every single day. No judging and changing others - appreciating who they are, what they do and how the influence me in my life - in a good way of course.

In reality the greatest let downs are usually all your personal fears coming to life infront of you. The key is to realize life around us is simply an opinion, so you hold the key to judging it. Youve already seemed to find the beauty in the flaws and thats the baby steps to enjoying and truly being happy in life.
Remember happiness is a state of mind:]
