I've traded in blog-stalking for something even more {momentarily} rewarding:
flickr-stalking.

I am astounded by the heaps of talented people roaming this world.
Jaw-dropping.

Well, there's this "365 Project" that lots of people are doing.
Basically, you take a picture every day and post it on flickr in an album, and tag it in a flickr-wide group.
I'm still not completely knowledgeable in flickr and its assimilated terminology, so sorry if I sound like a complete dweeb with my fbook lingo.
But such "sets" (that's a real flickr word - booyah!) have been the source of much of my recent inspirations.
Here's what the site says:

"The 365 Days group is a project in which members submit one self portrait each day for a year.
All of the rules are right there in that one sentence, but it seems to confuse so many folks, so we'll elaborate a bit:
A self portrait is a photo of yourself taken by you - it is not a photo of you taken by someone else and it is not a photo of something you hold near and dear to your heart. Please don't try to interpret 'self portrait' into something drastically different than what it is."

So I think I might start it. 365. A new picture everyday.
That's a lot of pictures..dang. Good thing a picture of your hand counts as "self-portrait". Ha. 365 pictures of my face and my camera might break :-P
Or just punch me in the nose to get to me to stop hahaha.
I'll let you know if I get the guts to do it, and I'll link it to my blog.

Anyone want to do it with me? :)

I'm already doing it! But mine isn't self-portraits. It's my life, my family, my friends, my routines, my favorite stuffs, the random moments, the details, the little things. It's AMAZING! and I can't wait to give it to my grandkids so they can see what I was doing when I was 20 years old.

I'm using this handy dandy little kit:

Me too! I'm doing it where the pics can be anything, just as long as it's at least one a day. We'll see how long I can make it! :o)
