I think I've learned that the more you try to steer your life in a certain direction, the less likely it is to turn out as you've planned. But honestly, these sporadic and unexpected surprises are wonderful. Unplanned for? Yes. Unwelcome? Absolutely not. I could mope around in a tangled web of thoughts and questions, but it really isn't worth the uncertainty. I'm just going to ride it all out and trust that it goes smoothly :)
