I don't know why I always feel more compelled to start goals at the beginning of the year, as opposed to the second I realize I need to change something in my life. I mean, in reality, change is impartial to time. The essence of life could care less if it's January 1st or March 23rd. However, I've compiled quite the long list of 2011 "To Do's". More so, "To Become's". I figure resolutions are worthless if they aren't progressing me into becoming a better person. So that's what I'm resoluting (?) to do.

I want to become someone who is held at a high intellectual regard.
I want to become someone who speaks only kind words.
I want to become someone who is inspired (and inspires others) through art.
I want to become someone who harbors purely positive thoughts.
I want to become someone who can melt marshmallows over the stove without burning them (haha..for real).
I want to become someone who eliminates negative self talk.
I want to become someone who develops an even greater love and understanding of the sacred temple ordinances.
I want to become someone who will one day be a worthy wife and mother to choice children of Heavenly Father.
I want to become more like my Savior.

"And I consecrate unto them this land for a little season...wherefore let them act upon this land as for years." (D&C51:16-17) The best way to prepare for your future is by building upon your present.

I love your "to becomes." They are wonderful goals and it seems like you are well on your way to achieving them.

P.S. Good luck with those law school apps!
